The Grants Steering Committee and the 57 members of the 2021 Grant Review Teams are delighted to announce our 21 semi-finalists, chosen from among the 151 grant applications that ninety-nine girlfriends received in May. Our Grant Review Teams are presenting organizations that inspire them and address our 2021 Funding Priority and Guiding Principles.
Thank you to our Grant Review Teams for their thoughtful and challenging work choosing the semi-finalists. We are grateful for the commitment of time and energy they put into this process as well as their focus on anti-bias and mindful, collaborative decision making. Grant Review Teams used these eligibility criteria to make their decisions this year.

WHAT’S NEXT
The Grant Review Teams will take a deeper dive into the semi-finalist organizations while the Financial Review Team digs into the finance and governance backgrounds to assess each group’s capacity to manage a $90,000 grant. These steps put us well on our way to selecting the ten finalists for consideration and member vote for this year’s five $90,000 Impact Awards. The five finalists that aren’t selected for Impact Awards will each receive $5,000 Finalist Awards.
