Dear ninety-nine girlfriends members and potential members,

As the Coronavirus unfolds, it affects us not only from a health standpoint, but also socially, financially, politically and culturally. Ninety-nine girlfriends plays a unique role in our region in connecting women in collective action and supporting nonprofits. All of us must pivot as the pandemic moves through our community. Here’s what we’re doing in response to the pandemic and health department communiques.

Ninety-nine girlfriends will play our role in “flattening the curve” to slow down the spread of COVID-19 and the severity of its impact on our community. We are postponing all of our programs including World Cafes through the end of May and will re-evaluate later next month.

For those of you who are just learning about our activities we encourage you to join us without the benefit of participating in a small group World Café experience. You can learn so much about our work through these materials:

We are available by phone, email and for one-on-one coffees for all potential and returning members. Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@ninetyninegirlfriends.com and we will get right back to you. We will be in touch with those of you who are registered for upcoming World Cafes. We are working on finding alternative ways to communicate through webinars, videos, and other virtual chats.

This is a time when collective action means a lot – our nonprofits have much to contend with as circumstances change and we hope our work can add support to our partners in the region.

We are already 321 members strong for our 2020 cycle of learning and grant making, on our way to our goal of 500 members by May 7, 2020.  The importance of giving back to our community has never been greater.

Please join us in making a difference!
