What Can You do as a ninety-nine girlfriend with no events to attend right now?

A. You can read the entire ninety-nine girlfriend website, start to finish and learn more than you ever knew about us!

B. You can send edits if you see grammatical or spelling mistakes and tell us what is missing for you!

C. You can fill out your member profile and maybe find a virtual volunteer job! Talk to Kirsten, Christine & Mary Wells at memberengagement@ninetyninegirlfriends.com for help.

D. You can watch this fun video spontaneously made for us by one of our members, Kaye! 

E. You can make a fun video for us too!

F. You can check out our entire list of Grantee Partners and award winners over the past five years and look them up, one by one. Read through their websites and learn about everything they do. Get really excited all over again about our local community! This will take you a few days!

G. You can also love ‘em up! For instance, Portland Homeless Family Solutions and Rose Haven both have amazon wish lists on their website of all sorts of things you can have mailed to them. Circus Project is offering virtual movement classes!  ECO is providing curriculum for in-home teaching. And more - go find it! Then send us the list to publish.

H. You can take part in one of our spotlight study teams: info about the Spotlight Study Teams  (time sensitive/ limited slots)

I. You can write a poem for ninety-nine girlfriends and send it to us. 

J. You can first get inspired by poet Amy Baskin @amybaskinwrites who has written poems for us before - a master of words!

K. You can listen to the Virtual Town Hall, a collaboration between ninety-nine girlfriends and The Women’s Foundation of Oregon for covid-19:  HERE.

L. You can read up on our national network of women’s collective giving circles, Philanos, and be super inspired by the collective giving movement in this country! We Rock!

M. You can send philanthropy jokes and make us all laugh.

N. You can call or email another ninety-nine girlfriend and send a love letter or banter.  If you don’t know anyone, send our member engagement team an email and they will find someone for you to banter with!

O. You can read up about the global generosity movement #GivingTuesday that, OF COURSE, ninety-nine girlfriends is taking part on May 5! Maybe even get your checkbook out if you aren’t unemployed!

P. You can contribute ideas for our Links from Girlfriends, after you have read all the other links of course.

R. You can have a glass of bubbly because, YES, it is our fifth anniversary.  Make that FIVE glasses!
