Dear ninety-nine girlfriends,

We are thrilled to present the ninety-nine girlfriends’ finalists for 2018. Download the complete Voters' Guide above and then vote!

Together we have accomplished a tremendous amount in a very short period of time. We launched ninety-nine girlfriends just two and a half years ago with 117 members. Last year we grew to 253 members. This year we have 401 girlfriends! Incredible. With the power of so many women, we are able to vote for THREE $100,000 Impact Awards and TWO $20,00 Finalist Awards. But there’s more… We have a second question on our ballot for Core Mission, “runners-up” awards of $12,200 each. In total we will be awarding TEN grants for a total of $401,000.

This past June, 142 nonprofits submitted eligible letters of interest. From June to November, over 70 members committed their time to reviewing, studying, meeting, conducting financial reviews and recommending the five finalists and runner’s up nominees you will read about in the Voters’ Guide. You can vote with your heart, knowing that all of these finalists have been well vetted. They are all amazing choices!

You don’t have to volunteer as a member of ninety-nine girlfriends, but you do have to vote. So, make your voice heard.

Vote online by November 20 at 5:00 pm PST and join us on Dec 4 at 5:30pm at The Loft on Belmont to celebrate our award winners. The Awards ceremony is a great event to bring a friend who may be interested in joining ninety-nine girlfriends.

A gentle reminder: we ask that members do not lobby other members. Your vote is a personal choice. Ninety-nine girlfriends is committed to parity: one woman, one equal contribution, one vote. Make yours count.

Yours in collective community action,

Pip Denhart, Michelle Hynes, Tammy Wilhoite, Maura Koehler-Hanlon, Deborah Edward, Eileen Brady, Erin Zollenkopf, and Jinx Faulkner.

Your 2018 Grants Steering Committee and Executive Committee members
