What brought you to ninety-nine girlfriends?

Like ninety-nine girlfriends, I believe in the power of collective giving and have witnessed its immense impact on the community. As someone who works for a local nonprofit, it’s inspiring to see how caring the community can be. I heard ninety-nine girlfriends is a compassionate organization with members who want to make a difference, which is why I wanted to become involved. Also, as a young professional focusing on nonprofit communications and development, I’m interested in learning more about philanthropy and connecting with others who care about the community!

Why do you volunteer?

I appreciate how ninety-nine girlfriends is a learning organization. I volunteer because I want to learn! Learn more about ninety-nine girlfriends and connect with other members, nonprofits doing work in the community and how to support them, and educational topics that foster a culture of philanthropy within our community. As a new Fellow, I’m diving in and volunteering for a Grant Review Team and the Communications Committee. These have been wonderful learning experiences, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to participate in these ways. I also look forward to getting to know more Girlfriends!
