We attended a 4-hour workshop that explored a curriculum developed by a Tribal-owned consulting firm, The Whitener Group, and was sponsored by the Washington State Nature Conservancy.
We covered Native History and Identity, Citizenship, and Culture.
We spent time together learning about current issues and harsh realities as we built community—the most fundamental of Native concepts!
