Our Grantmaking, Education, Communications and Events Planning Committees have specific calendars that are available from our committee chairs.
World Cafe Introductory Conversations are held at members' homes. These are 90-minute, small-group events meant to introduce new and potential members to ninety-nine girlfriends. For specific World Cafes click here and to see dates and sign-up information.
A Solutions Salon with 2017 Impact Award Winner, Portland Homeless Family Solutions. This is a discussion about affordable housing and homelessness in our community. This is for members only. For details click here and sign up information.

Members, if you would like to work on a grant review team in 2018, you need to have your membership contribution in by April 10. Others have until May 10 to make their contributions.

Deadline for becoming a member of ninety-nine girlfriends for 2018. Join now! After May 10, we will know the value of our fund for 2018! Our goal is to have 330 girlfriends join for 2018 so we can give THREE $100,000 Impact Awards and two $15,000 Finalist Awards.

We will be announcing our grant opportunities for 2018 on May 21. Stay tuned to hear how much our collective giving circle has raised and will be able to award. Award amounts available this year will be listed on our website and email announcements will be sent to hundreds of nonprofits. Letter of Interest (LOI) forms will be posted on our website.

Letters of Interest (LOI's) from nonprofits interested in applying for a ninety-nine girlfriends grant are due.
Grant review teams meet to discuss Letters of Interest and make decisions regarding semi-finalists. 20 semi-finalists will be selected, three from each of the five focus areas.

At the Discovery Forum we continue our exploration of what is philanthropy and how we fit in to our regional eco-system of grantmakers and nonprofits.
